BSR.009 — 6 megawatt ewers station in the York Quartier — Warm living for 1,800 planned residential units
2022-01-04
Initial situation
The city of Münster has converted the former York barracks site into the York Quarter. With a 6 megawatt plant, we supply around 1,800 residential units on approx. 300,000 m² of residential and commercial space.
We obtain the 80 °C heat required for the new development from the return flow of the district heating network of Stadtnetze Münster. The network is separated by three 2,000 kW transfer modules which pump the water into the separate district heating network of the York Quarter. In order to maintain the required pressure, this process is supported by three further pumping modules.
