BSR.020 — 600 kW district heating station – sustainable heat supply for the new indoor swimming pool in Hövelhof
21.08.2024
Initial situation
In Hövelhof, the old indoor swimming pool from the 1970s is being replaced by a modern new building – a project made possible by extraordinary civic commitment and generous donations. This initiative impressively demonstrates how the co-operation of citizens can result in considerable cost and time savings.
A decisive factor for the future economic viability of the indoor pool is the heat supply. The innovative 600 kW district heating station from ewers, which also supplies the new development area, plays a central role in this. It not only ensures a sustainable and efficient energy supply, but also lowers operating costs in the long term and reduces CO2 emissions at the same time.
The time has finally come in September:
The reopening of the Sennebad is imminent and the residents of Hövelhof are already looking forward to it.
