Change of managing director at ewers Heizungstechnik GmbH

01.07.2023

The ewers Heizungstechnik GmbH reorganizes its management.

As of 01.08.2023, Mr. Andre Wittmann will be appointed as commercial managing director and Mr. Christian Brüggemann as technical managing director. Furthermore, Mr. Roman Weckerle will be appointed as authorized signatory. Mr. Thomas Pollmeier acquired the company in 2020, successfully restructured and strategically realigned it. Thomas Pollmeier joins the advisory board as a shareholder. Together with the employees, processes were revised, the product range was expanded and both locations in Schloß Holte were merged. The interim management has now been completed, and now it is time to make ewers fit for the future with good structures and new, fresh ideas. Due to the current discussions about the direction of the energy turnaround, we are facing major tasks, not only at ewers.

About the individual persons:

Mr. Andre Wittmann holds a degree in business administration and has acquired a wealth of experience in accounting, taxation and controlling as well as business informatics and marketing during his professional life. He built up his extensive know-how at Kaimann GmbH in Hövelhof, among others. He is a team player, loves ZDF (figures, data, facts) and appreciates value-oriented, open and honest communication.

Mr. Christian Brüggemann has been technical manager at ewers since March 2023. Until his change, he worked for REMKO GmbH & Co. KG in the same function and developed, among other things, the now successful heat pump product range. Previously, he held various positions at technotrans AG in Sassenberg, first as a technician in research and development, and later as head of product qualification. He is a trained energy system electronics technician from the ground up and has continued his education in the field of refrigeration and process engineering while working. He is a technician and visionary with the right feeling for promising products and solutions.

The management duo is supported by Mr. Roman Weckerle, who has already been a permanent part of the company since mid-2021 and is responsible for the areas of purchasing and digitalization. With this management trio, ewers seems well equipped for the future.

“I am very pleased that we were able to win Mr. Wittmann and Mr. Brüggemann for ewers as additions. We are sure that with them we will be able to continue our growth in line with our corporate strategy and consolidate it for the future. We warmly welcome Mr. Wittmann and Mr. Brüggemann and look forward to a good and successful cooperation”, says Thomas Pollmeier, owner of ewers Heizungstechnik GmbH.

As a recognized manufacturer of sustainable and high-quality district heating transfer stations and domestic hot water heating systems, ewers continues to focus on products and solutions for the successful energy transition. The tasks in the field of development are to create products for the reduction of network temperatures and also for the new cold networks. Modular systems are planned that also provide for combinations with heat pumps. In the spirit of digitalization, an app for commissioning is being created so that customers and tradesmen on site can be supported by ewers in commissioning the systems as intended and in an energy-efficient manner.
