Ranga Yogeshwar congratulates ewers Heizungstechnik on making it into the TOP 100

Überlingen – Honored at the German SME Summit: Ranga Yogeshwar honors ewers Heizungstechnik GmbH from Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock on the occasion of its success in the TOP 100 innovation competition. The award ceremony at the Summit will take place on Friday evening, June 24, in Frankfurt am Main for all SMEs that were awarded the TOP 100 seal at the beginning of the year. The science journalist is accompanying the innovation competition, which is being held for the 29th time, as a mentor. In the scientific selection process, ewers Heizungstechnik was particularly convincing in the size category B (51 to 200 employees) in the categories “Innovation-promoting top management” and “Innovation success”.

A sustainable energy transition requires technologies that use renewable energy sources or industrial waste heat to heat buildings, such as green district heating. As a pioneer in this field, the company ewers has long been designing the transfer stations required for this. In 2020, Thomas Pollmeier took over the business as managing director and made generating innovative ideas a top priority. Part of his strategy is to contribute his ideas in a targeted manner, but to allow employees freedom to realize these ideas.

The company’s latest innovative success is a modular construction system. Individual construction is very costly and led to delivery times of up to 16 weeks for the transfer stations, which are integrated in thermal insulation made of polyurethane (PU). From the countless individual variants, ewers Heizungstechnik developed a modular system for the transfer stations that covers 90 percent of the customers’ needs.
